Finca La Capilla was the first farm-direct coffee we ever offered, and it’s still one of our favorite seasonal releases. We’ve been working with producer Alipio Muñoz since 2018 and are proud to buy his entire harvest each year.
Alipio blends tradition with innovation, most recently building a covered drying patio on the roof of his home. The elevated design provides steady airflow and protection from the elements, ensuring even and consistent drying before the coffee reaches the mill.
By paying a premium and committing to his whole crop, we’re investing in the continued success of La Capilla, and the results speak for themselves. This lot is sweet and syrupy, with vibrant cherry notes and a crisp, malic acidity. It’s a favorite among our team, and however you choose to brew it, we think it will be one of yours too.
